As if with 〜んばかり

Grammar: Appearance » 〜んばかり

〜んばかり has a meaning of “at any moment, seems will do (verb)”.

Follows the ない stem of a verb. In the case of する, it becomes せん.

English counterparts are “as if” and “as though”.
