Having an interest in something with 気がある

The expression ()がある literally means “to have a feeling” or “to have interest”. It is often used in contexts where someone has romantic or personal interest in another person or a strong inclination toward something. It is often used to describe subtle, underlying feelings rather than overt declarations.
