Releases
There are three digital releases for this series.
The original release has 48 volumes sold at about 660 円 each.
There is also a 超合本版 release, which packages four volumes into one e-book. This results in 12 volumes for about 2,640 円 each. This release has more contrast, resulting in slightly darker grays.
The 新装版 release has the best quality images. While the page resolution is the same (based on checking free previews), there are more details in the shading as the prior two releases have contrast boosts that washed out lighter shading. Artwork spanning two pages appears as one seamless image, rather than having an inner margin seam down the center. Colored pages have improved color, removing the yellow hue of the original.
Currently, I'm using the original release for screenshots and volume/page numbers in examples.
